Reach out and help.....

Being challenged in life is something all of us face, some of us more than others, having had real deep emotional struggles as a young person and as an adult I get no greater feeling than reaching out and helping another in personal need today.

I currently volunteer for a charity mentoring young people who are going through challenges, sometimes just giving an ear, sometimes playing games and sometimes chatting through my own struggles so they know they are not on their own, in the last 8 months I decided to reach out in the school I was mentoring at to sponsor someone who would benefit from learning to drive, the school introduced me to someone and this young person did great, completed and passed their practical test and now has a full licence which is going to completely change their future and prospects, I used the common phrase "Pay it Forward" to the young person as some don't want charity, but let's help you now and you will be able to pay it back in the future....

Part of my lives successes are because of individuals who cared and helped and its time to continue paying back, if anyone reads this and knows of someone who would benefit from being sponsored and supported and learn to drive or just to be a caring ear, let me know so I continue paying it forward........
